10kg Riggit Galloway Beef Boxes
£198.00

Our cattle are here primarily to help create a richer and more varied landscape at Kingsdale Head. Grazing at very low density, they browse and graze across our 608-hectare upland farm, creating differences in vegetation height and structure that benefit a range of habitats and wildlife.

Riggit Galloways are well suited to this life and landscape living outside throughout the year and forage on the grasses, rushes, sedges, heather and other vegetation. They receive no supplementary grain and are allowed to grow and finish in their own time.

The result is richly flavoured beef with great texture. We keep only a small herd, so our beef is produced in very limited quantities.

What is in the box?

Each box contains at least 10kg of beef, typically including:

  • approximately 4kg of roasting and slow-cooking joints

  • approximately 2.5kg of mince

  • approximately 2.5kg of diced and other slow-cooking beef

  • approximately 1kg of steaks

Our boxes represent the whole animal rather than only the most familiar cuts. Depending on the individual animal, they may include traditional steaks and joints alongside cuts such as flat iron, featherblade, shin or short rib.

The exact cuts and proportions will vary slightly between boxes. This allows us to make good use of the whole animal.

Delivery and storage

Boxes will be available for collection from Kingsdale Head or mainland UK delivery from 14 September 2026.

Courier orders are supplied frozen in insulated packaging. Place the individually packed beef in the freezer immediately after delivery, or refrigerate any packs you intend to use.

Defrost frozen beef slowly in the fridge before cooking.

Because we produce only a small amount of beef each year, boxes are available while stocks last.
