Stay
Kingsdale Head feels wonderfully remote and peaceful, yet is only a few miles from the vibrant village of Ingleton. The farm sits below Whernside, the highest peak in the Dales, and from the top of the land you can see south and east across the Dales, north to the Howgills and beyond to the peaks of the Lake District, and west to the coast.
Stay in the Cottage next to the Farmhouse or at 'The Sheep Barn', and enjoy a quiet base in the heart of Kingsdale. From here you can take in views across Kingsdale Beck, explore sheltered woodland areas, waterfalls and more dramatic open moorland, or head out into the surrounding landscape.
Kingsdale Head is also a great base for exploring the wider area, not only the Yorkshire Dales National Park, but also the neighbouring Forest of Bowland and the Lake District, which is only forty five minutes away by car.
